The photos include views of streets, municipal buildings, commercial buildings, parks, schools, colleges, hospitals, military installations, and special events, such as parades, ceremonies, and natural disasters. Since the newspaper made every effort to chronicle the growth and development of West Texas, its photographs of the many towns and cities in the region are an important part of the collection.
